The TargetCancer Foundation Virtual Gala

We are proud to announce that with your help, we raised over $275,000 for our rare cancer research and patient support programs at this year’s Gala! Thank you to all of the incredible members of our community who joined us – each and every one of you made our 2020 event a memorable and hugely successful evening.

Monday: Learn about the Science
TCF Executive Director Jim Palma and Dr. Prasanth Reddy, VP of Medical Affairs at Foundation Medicine hosted a Q&A session about comprehensive genomic profiling and it role in identifying treatments for cancer patients. Learn the basics about this critical testing, which is a major component of TCF’s recently announced TRACK Study.
Tuesday: TCF’s 2020 Gala Signature Cocktail Contest
Tuesday evening, Boston mixologist Steven George of Boston on the Rocks demonstrated how to make three cocktails vying to be named our Signature Cocktail. There were some neat bar tricks , and the video provides you with a list of all the ingredients needed to make each cocktail or mocktail at home.
Wednesday: Shucks, Don’t Forget About the Oysters!
Since we weren’t able to serve you oysters in person this year, our friends at Monk’s Cove Sea Farm popped by to share information and some fun facts you may not know about these pearls of the ocean.
Thursday: The TCF Gala Virtual Red Carpet,
It’s not a Gala without a red carpet, and we were thrilled by everyone who joined ours on Thursday evening preceding the main event. We saw all manner of virtual Gala finest- cocktail attire, pajamas, and TCF green!
