Two years ago, TargetCancer Foundation was fortunate to be invited by the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra to be a Spotlight Partner at one of their major concerts.
At first, the collaboration seemed like an uncommon one, but we quickly learned that the scientists we support and the musicians in the CSO actually have a lot in common. The concert was a major success, and gave both of our organizations an unconventional way to promote our missions to audiences that we would likely not reach otherwise. In fact, the arts and science concept of our original collaboration led to a similar event last year when TargetCancer Foundation collaborated with the Neglia Ballet in Buffalo, NY for a performance there.
This year, we are proud to have been asked once again to join the CSO for their Spring concert in Cambridge as a Spotlight Partner! We are thrilled to be working with them again, and especially excited for an excellent program featuring guest pianist Max Levinson and works by Respighi, Dukas, and Brahms.
Our sincere thanks to the CSO for their continued commitment to the arts, and for supporting local not-for-profits. We are proud to partner with them once again!
