We are excited to announce the TargetCancer Foundation Advocacy Council, dedicated to empowering volunteers through increased support of TargetCancer Foundation’s mission including rare cancer awareness, rare cancer research, and patient support.
There are many ways to serve on the council. Here are just a few examples:
- Help at an event or plan one of your own
- Travel to a scientific conference to represent TCF
- Write for the TCF Blog
- Become a patient liaison
- Train to become a legislative advocate
- Serve on the Gala planning committee
Many thanks to Leslie Condon and Lisbeth Garassino, who will be Co-Chairing the council. After their own experiences of losing siblings to cholangiocarcinoma, Leslie and Lisbeth have energetically volunteered with TCF, and we are excited to have them leading this new council.
