The 5th Think Tank on Advancing Gastroesophageal Cancer Research will be held virtually in an expanded format on November 18-19, 2021.

Traditionally, the TargetCancer Foundation Think Tank on Advancing Gastroesophageal Cancer Research has been an in-person, two-day scientific meeting addressing the challenges facing researchers and clinicians in gastroesophageal cancer. After a successful pivot to a virtual event in 2020, the 2021 meeting is returning in an expanded virtual format, spanning two mornings. This will allow the meeting to cover a wider breadth of topics and feature renowned speakers from around the world.

While the format has been adapted, the goal of the Think Tank remains the same: promote collaboration, information-sharing and idea generation in an effort to define research priorities, foster new collaborative efforts across institutions, and ultimately propel the field of gastroesophageal cancer research forward. In its revised format this meeting also continues to provide the opportunity for early-career scientists to present abstracts to the leaders in their field.

You can view the 2020 Think Tank program here. Last year we were pleased to hear from both national and international speakers as we welcomed registrants from across the U.S. and eleven countries.

The agenda and invitations will be distributed in September.
